PDLC display and projection glass
In its frosted state, PDLC switchable glass becomes a high-definition rear-projection surface. It is used for switchable display windows, projection walls and interactive retail displays.
How PDLC works as a display
The same frosted state that gives PDLC its privacy also makes it an excellent rear-projection screen. A projector behind the glass throws a bright, sharp image onto the frosted film, so a plain pane becomes a display on demand.
Switch the glass clear and the image disappears, revealing whatever sits behind it, a product, a showroom, a stage. That switch between a live product view and a projected display is what makes it powerful for retail and experience spaces.
